Maintenance Technician

About Us

Signature Properties is expanding! We manage over 500 residential and commercial properties, all within an hour’s radius of our office, covering everything from small maintenance tasks to full refurbishments. We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working Multi-Trader / Handyman with a strong can‑do attitude to join our in‑house maintenance team. This is a fast‑paced role where flexibility, teamwork, and meeting tight deadlines are essential to minimise void periods between tenants.

The Role You’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

• General maintenance
  , such as:
  • Silicone and sealing works
  • Basic plumbing repairs
  • Fencing and minor external works
  • Carpentry and joinery repairs
  • Patch plastering and making good
• Painting & decorating, from repairing water‑damaged ceilings to full re‑decorations
• Assisting with cleaning properties to prepare for new tenants
• Preparing residential and commercial properties to a high standard
• Completing tasks efficiently and moving between jobs as priorities change

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Overtime available if desired, paid at time and a half
• Start from home each day; attend office only when required
• Provided with an iPad containing your diary and work orders
• All properties are within 1 hour of the office, making travel easy and predictable

• Proven experience as a multi‑trader / handyman
• Strong decorating skills (essential)
• Positive, “get‑on‑with‑it” attitude
• Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment
• Reliable, professional, and takes pride in your work
• Full UK driving licence preferred

• Salary £32,500
