Floor Layer

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Floor Layer to join Hi-Tech Property Services Ltd, working on a variety of commercial refurbishment and flooring projects across Southern England. This role involves installing safety flooring, commercial vinyl, and carpets in pubs, hotels, restaurants, and other hospitality venues.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Working Pattern: No less than 40 hours a week, 8 hour shifts

Experience: 2 years relevant experience (required)

Hi-Tech Property Services Ltd has been delivering high-quality refurbishment and construction services for over 15 years, working with pubs, hotels, and commercial businesses across Southern England.

We are looking for a skilled Floor Layer to join our expanding team, delivering expert flooring solutions for a range of commercial properties.

• Travel to customer sites for installations and repairs.
• Install safety flooring, including cap & cove and flat lay techniques.
• Lay commercial vinyl flooring such as Karndean, Amtico, and Polyflor.
• Carry out carpet installations to a high standard.
• Survey, measure, and cost jobs, liaising with Estimators and Site Supervisors.
• Order materials and maintain supplier relationships.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Maintain a polite, customer-focused approach.

• 2+ years of experience in flooring (required).
• Cap & cove installation experience (essential).
• Strong knowledge of flooring installation techniques and materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence (required).

Operating for over 20 years with an established customer base, Hi-Tech employs a variety of around 100 tradespeople, with skillsets ranging from general builders, joiners and multi-trades to electricians, plumbers and carpenters and roofers, all producing work to the highest standards.

Typical work can be anything from ‘odd job’ and reactive call outs to larger project works for a range of customers, from pubs, hotels and restaurants to larger commercial premises.
