THE ROLE As a Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, installation and repair works across a range of commercial and industrial sites. You will work as part of an experienced engineering team, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently and in line with industry regulations and company procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of gas systems and appliances. Complete planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown works. Diagnose faults and provide effective solutions. Ensure all work is completed in line with current gas regulations, health & safety requirements and company standards. Complete relevant documentation, service reports and compliance records. Liaise professionally with customers, site teams and internal stakeholders.
Support wider mechanical and facilities engineering activities when required. Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service. WHAT YOU'LL NEED Essential Qualified Gas Engineer with relevant ACS qualifications. Previous experience working within commercial or industrial gas environments. Strong understanding of gas safety regulations and compliance requirements. Experience carrying out fault finding, maintenance and installation works. Full UK driving licence.
Strong communication skills with a professional approach to customer interaction.
Desirable Experience within commercial facilities management or building services. Experience working on commercial heating systems. OFTEC, plumbing or additional mechanical qualifications.
