Accountant

The Accountant will work closely with the CFO, Controller, and the rest of the management team.

• Assist with Accounts payable & receivables.
• Ensure all records are kept accurate and are available for internal and external review and compliance.
• Filing and renaming documents for audit/billing support.
• Assist with other assigned tasks by other peers and managers.
• Must be proactive and have strong communication skills.
• Ability to learn complex accounting systems (Deltek CostPoint).
• Must be able to troubleshoot and problem solve, and demonstrate professionalism and a positive work ethic.
• Intermediate to Expert Excel skills.

• BS or BA degree in Accounting or Business.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills for interfacing with co-workers, peers, management, project managers, and customers.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet any sudden deadlines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be available to work additional hours when needed during the month-end close or if any special projects are assigned.
• Experience with Federal Contracts.
