We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to analyze financial information, prepare reports, and ensure accuracy in financial processes. This role will play a key part in supporting month‑end close, maintaining financial integrity, and collaborating cross‑functionally to improve accounting operations.

Candidate must be located, and work from our corporate office in Fargo, ND.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze month‑end financial statements, including accruals and expense reviews.
- Research and resolve variances, posting errors, and unusual trends in financial data.
- Support audit preparation and year‑end work papers.
- Collaborate with departments to provide accounting guidance on transactions, projects, and system updates.
- Assist with daily accounting tasks such as journal entries, check runs, and vendor settlements.
- Contribute to process improvements, system implementations, and testing efforts.
- Participate in special projects (e.g., fixed assets, sales tax, incentive programs).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field).
- 2–4 years of accounting experience.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
- Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail with strong accuracy in financial work.
- Ability to identify issues, research solutions, and recommend improvements.
- Effective communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
