Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our growing team. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, completing month-end accounting activities, preparing financial reports, and supporting budgeting and audit processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a thorough understanding of accounting principles, and a commitment to continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform regular cash reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

+ Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

+ Prepare month-end journal entries and supporting documentation.

+ Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements.

+ Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and audit activities.

+ Prepare various financial reports, requests, and supporting schedules as needed.

+ Collaborate with internal stakeholders on accounting and finance-related projects.

+ Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and strengthen controls.

+ Maintain professional communication with management, business partners, and team members.

+ Support special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

+ 3+ years of accounting experience.

+

Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

+ Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.

+ Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

+ Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

+ Effective written and verbal communication skills.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fargo, ND.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
