Crown Appraisals is a dynamic and growing team that performs valuations of agribusiness facilities nationwide for mergers, acquisitions, financing, litigation, etc.

This role provides valuable support to our driven team members and requires a resourceful, detail-oriented, and honest person who is self-motivated and willing to help wherever the need is. The Administrative Assistant handles daily operations of the office, including, but not limited to: maintaining company financial records, executing payroll, creating and sending invoices, secretarial duties, etc. Other responsibilities including collaborating with our appraisers to perform market research, financial analysis, and data collection.

Job Responsibilities
  • Maintaining company financial records
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
  • Coordinate and maintain records related to professional licensing, including assisting with applications, renewals, deadlines, and required documentation
  • Conduct market research of agribusiness sales using a variety of resources
  • Transpose and analyze financial records in Excel
  • Prepare files and documentation for valuation projects
  • Support team by performing tasks related to organization and strong communication
  • Help maintain standardized templates, forms, and internal process documents
Skills and Qualifications
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred but not required
  • Accounting experience preferred
  • Resourceful and creative problem-solving and internet research skills
  • Aptitude for business software (e.g. Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, etc.)
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
  • Knowledge of the agriculture industry preferred
