About the RoleLab Liquidators is looking for a dependable, organized person to help manage the many moving parts of a growing small business.
This is a varied, hands-on role combining administrative work with communication, logistics, bookkeeping support, customer coordination, local errands, and related property operations.
The person hired will work closely with the owner, have substantial independence, and take ownership of important day-to-day responsibilities. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people and making sure important details do not fall through the cracks.
The position may be part-time or full-time depending on business needs and mutual fit. PTO and health insurance benefits apply for full-time candidates.
Responsibilities- Manage and follow up on email, phone calls, and routine business communications
- Coordinate shipping quotes, pickups, deliveries, and paperwork
- Communicate with customers, vendors, carriers, contractors, and service providers
- Schedule local equipment pickups and meet customers when needed
- Assist with invoices, receipts, transaction entry, and basic bookkeeping
- Maintain task lists, records, and operational documents
- Coordinate property showings, maintenance visits, inspections, and contractors
- Communicate with applicants, tenants, and vendors
- Run occasional local errands and assist with miscellaneous small-business projects
- Identify problems, follow through, and keep the owner informed
- Strong organization and follow-through
- Clear, professional communication by phone, email, and text
- Good judgment and comfort working independently
- Ability to learn new software and computer systems quickly
- Comfort handling both desk work and local, in-person tasks
- Discretion with confidential business and financial information
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience in administrative assistance, logistics, bookkeeping, property management, customer service, office administration, or small-business operations is preferred.
- Experience with Quick Books Online, Google Workspace, freight shipping, Facebook Marketplace, or property management software is a plus but not required.
