Auto Body Estimator – Customer Service & Collision Repair

Bailey's is looking for an Auto Body Estimator to join our growing team in the Fargo/Moorhead area.

You’ll work directly with customers to understand their vehicle concerns, create repair plans, coordinate with insurance companies, and help guide customers through the collision repair process from start to finish.

Bailey's began in 2009 providing paintless dent repair to body shops and dealerships across the country. We expanded into the Fargo/Moorhead market in 2012 and have continued to grow, adding our own facility in 2014, vehicle detailing in 2016, and auto body services in 2018. We’re continuing that growth with a new 24,000 sq. ft. headquarters at 3102 36th Street South in Fargo.

As an Auto Body Estimator, you’ll serve as an important connection between our customers, technicians, production team, and insurance partners.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Greet customers and provide a professional, welcoming experience
• Listen to customers’ vehicle concerns and understand their repair needs
• Create repair plans and estimates
• Estimate collision and other automotive repair work using a tablet or computer
• Document vehicle damage with detailed photographs
• Research OEM repair procedures
• Review and diagnose vehicle codes as needed
• Schedule vehicle repairs
• Explain repair procedures and repair plans clearly to customers and team members
• Identify opportunities for additional services when appropriate
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding repairs and claims
• Assist with receiving customer payments
• Complete data entry and maintain accurate records
• File and organize paperwork
• Communicate effectively with technicians, production staff, customers, and insurance representatives
• Help maintain an organized and professional work environment
• Meet deadlines and keep repairs moving according to schedule
• Assist other team members when needed
• Help identify problems and develop solutions that improve workflow

We’re looking for someone who is mature, dependable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both customers and a fast-paced automotive team.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver"s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug and background check
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
