The Senior Market Leader collaborates with clients to identify their needs and develop innovative solutions. This role is dedicated to driving business growth within the utility-scale renewables and data center markets. - Develop, promote and sell services and solutions related to the Renewables industry to existing and prospective clients focused in the assigned service categories.
- Listen to clients, address today's challenges and evolving needs with compelling, comprehensive solutions.
- Identify, develop and convert opportunities with new and existing clients within the power and renewable markets.
- Engage with the industry and with clients to effectively represent Ulteig, enhance Ulteig's reputation and build high impact and influential relationships with new and current clients.
- Invest in and have a keen awareness of developing consultative and engineering technologies and solutions.
- Develop and execute territory and business development plans based on client immediate and long-term challenges and needs.
- Partner internally on key, complex projects and as needed, provide key project oversight.
- Lead with influence across the organization (Business Development, Marketing, Proposals, Project Management, Engineering/Operations, Finance, Legal) to pursue, propose and win business.
- Bachelor's degree required;
Engineering, Construction Management, Business or Finance degree preferred. - MBA Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development, client management, engineering and/or utility-scale renewable or data center project development required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy or data center development for a large, utility-scale developer, IPP or EPC is highly preferred.
- Strong business acumen: strategic partnerships, innovation, project management, proposals, business development and consulting engineering.
- Strong reputation in the power, renewable and/or data center markets, speaking and thought leadership experience at industry events, and solid working relationships with clients.
- Demonstrates openness to innovation by embracing and applying evolving technology and AI tools to enhance workflows, solve problems, and drive continuous improvement.
- Possesses well-rounded knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures of associated industries.
- Proven experience in effective proposal development.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with current and potential clients and internal colleagues.
- Demonstrates ability to influence and collaborate with individuals at all levels in the organization.
- Demonstrated business development results and success.
- Ability to travel.
- Must have authorization to work permanently in the US.

Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $160,200 - $216,600.
