About the Role
Project Manager Opportunity with a top‑tier commercial and government contractor. Salary: $100,000 – $135,000 per year. Our client is a growing commercial construction firm specializing in complex renovations, healthcare environments, government facilities, and other commercial projects. Responsibilities• Lead and manage commercial and government construction projects from preconstruction, through construction, to closeout.
• Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, and subcontractor management.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, leading meetings and maintaining strong working relationships.
• Coordinate field teams and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety standards, building codes, and contract administration requirements.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to field teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial, healthcare, government, institutional, or industrial construction.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience managing projects from preconstruction through completion.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, subcontractor management, and construction operations.
- Experience with project management software such as Procore, Primavera, MS Project, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, safety standards, building codes, and contract administration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and schedule expectations.
- Experience working in occupied or regulated environments such as healthcare or government facilities is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor field teams and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and decision‑making abilities.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality assurance, and client satisfaction.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
