Perform on-site, ASTM-standard tests on fresh concrete, including slump, air content, and temperature.
Sampling & Inspection:
Sample concrete from trucks and inspect material consistency to meet project specifications.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve concrete quality issues on job sites.
Communication:
Act as a liaison between the plant, customers, and contractors to ensure customer satisfaction.
Safety Adherence:
Maintain strict compliance with safety policies, including OSHA/MSHA guidelines and PPE requirements
Required Qualifications & Skills
ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I certification
Knowledge of ASTM/ACI standards.
Ability to read and interpret project specifications and mix designs.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Physical stamina to lift up to 50–75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
Valid driver's license for travel to various job sites.
Typical Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in construction, specifically with concrete
