As a Laborer for our Midwest Buildings District, you will contribute to our team by:
* Reporting to work on time, ready to work safely and learn
* Assists project superintendent where needed
* Actively takes direction & asks questions to ensure tasks are understood
* Cleans and prepares construction sites as needed
* Loads or unloads construction materials
* Hand Digging
* Fence Maintenance
* Housekeeping
* Hand Trenching
* Minor demolitions
* Associated material cleanup and disposal
* Other duties as required
What you will bring to the role:
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Knowledge and use of hand and power tools
* High regard for safety and pride for quality of work
* Self-motivated and a team player
* Able to multi-task, show initiative and ask questions as needed
* Able to follow directions to ensure completion of daily tasks
* Have a high degree of flexibility in a changing environment
* Must have reliable transportation
* Strength to perform average lifting of up to 50 pounds, from the ground to above head.
* Should be able to navigate through the worksite on a daily basis
* Occasionally climbs up and down ladders, scaffolding, and stairs. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places, and under pressure.
* Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
* Legally authorized to work in the US
