Customer Service; Call Center Specialist

Location

Fargo Corporate Office (On‑site for 12‑week training, desk‑share within ND/MN footprint after training; internal may be considered for fully remote).

Full‑time. Pay starts at $18 per hour, dependent on experience. Shift differential $5 per shift for Saturday work and for hours 6‑10 p.m. Monday‑Friday.

Monday–Friday, variable shifts: 10:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. Every 3rd Saturday: 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

• Answer high volume of incoming calls and provide customer service over the phone regarding account information, rates, products and services.
• Support online banking, debit card, and general account questions.
• Sell and cross‑sell products and services as per Gate City Bank guidelines.
• Respond to inquiries about interest rates, service charges, and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations, and privacy policies.
• Assist other departments with transactions and provide support for departmental customer requests.
• Perform basic stop payments, disputes, pre‑authorizations, and online password resets.
• Meet Customer Service Center quality performance standards.

• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior customer service experience in a call center and/or sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
