Job Summary

Responsible for assisting in the oversight of gym operations to ensure a positive member experience and a financially successful club.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in member service oversight, ensuring all staff consistently provide great customer experience.
  • Manage front‑desk related tasks.
  • Greet and meet potential members and provide gym tours.
  • Facilitate member service issues and questions.
  • Provide backup support to the Club Manager as needed.
  • Oversee cleanliness and appearance of the gym.
  • Assist in managing marketing efforts; ensure staff is aware and trained on current promotions.
  • Order supplies, maintain inventory, and track reports.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, coworkers, and the public in a way that exceeds expectations.
  • Listen actively, empathize, and work collaboratively to solve problems.
  • Recognize and define problems, analyze information, encourage alternative solutions, and plan resolutions; seek assistance when needed.
  • Demonstrate tact and skill in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language.

Job Details

Job Title: Team Lead;
Reports to: Club Manager;
Status: Full Time / Non‑Exempt

Minimum Qualifications

  • Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift.
  • Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time.
