Position
Team Lead – reports to Club Manager. Status:
Full Time / Non-Exempt.
Responsible for assisting in the oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience and financially successful club.
Responsibilities- Assist in member service oversight to guarantee excellent customer experience.
- Perform front‑desk related tasks and greet/meet potential members, providing gym tours.
- Facilitate member service issues and questions.
- Provide backup support to the Club Manager as needed.
- Assist in overseeing cleanliness and appearance of the gym.
- Help manage marketing efforts and ensure staff knowledge of current promotions.
- Order supplies, maintain inventory, and track reports.
- Customer Service: communicate and interact with customers, coworkers, and the public in a way that exceeds expectations.
- Listening: actively listen, empathize, and collaborate to solve problems.
- Problem Solving: identify and define problems, analyze information, propose alternative solutions, and seek assistance when necessary.
- Diplomacy: demonstrate tact and skill in all interactions using appropriate behavior and language.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Standing and walking at least 75% of the shift.
- Talking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs less than 30% of the time.
