Join a Leading Food service Distribution TeamCash-Wa Distributing, a proud division of Performance Food Group (PFG), is seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Customer Service / Inside Sales Support Representative to join our growing team.
In this role, you'll serve as a key point of contact for customers and sales representatives, ensuring accurate order processing, exceptional customer service, and seamless account support. If you're detail-oriented, thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and enjoy building strong customer relationships, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do- Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently via phone and email
- Maintain customer account information, order guides, pricing, and product details
- Resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Coordinate with sales representatives, transportation teams, and internal departments regarding orders, deliveries, and product availability
- Support outside sales associates in managing and growing customer accounts
- Generate reports, document customer interactions, and process customer credits
- Balance customer needs with company policies while providing effective solutions
- Assist with product recall communications and coordination
- Cross‑train to support the Will Call Desk as needed
- Contribute to team success through collaboration and continuous improvement
- 1+ year of customer service, sales support, call center, or account support experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent data entry and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast‑paced environment
- Basic math and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work a rotating Sunday schedule (approximately once every four weeks)
- Ability to pass a background check and pre‑employment drug screening
- Experience in food service distribution, wholesale distribution, logistics, or supply chain industries
- Previous order entry or inside sales support experience
- Experience supporting business‑to‑business (B2B) customers
