Women’s Basketball Assistant Coach
Assisting the Head Coach with recruiting quality student-athletes; teaching and training students the skills and strategies related to competition; scouting and preparing reports; game day planning; team workouts; organizational planning; player/personnel management; assisting with fundraising events; mentoring and monitoring student-athletes to ensure academic performance; and other duties related to the women’s basketball program.
Qualifications RequiredBA or BS degree; playing experience at the college level; ability to represent Dakota College at Bottineau in a professional manner; a valid driver’s license; and good interpersonal skills.
Qualifications PreferredBA or BS degree; coaching experience at the high school or college level; good verbal and written communication skills.
Additional RequirementsThe assistant coach shall represent Dakota College at Bottineau in a professional manner while enforcing the college, NJCAA, and Mon-Dak guidelines governing the sport.
Salary and BenefitsSalary: $1,500–$2,500 per semester (possible housing, taxable).

Confidentiality of Application MaterialsPursuant to NDCC 44‑04‑18.27, applications and any records related to the applications that identify an applicant are confidential, except records related to the finalists of the position, which are open to the public after the search committee has identified the top three finalists who will be invited to campus.
