Description & DetailsThe Chaperones (a.k.a. Shepherds) with the Northern Crops Institute will assist professional team members in leading and supervising a group of 60 high school students through the NCI Summer Ag Academy on June 22-22, 2026. The position will provide approximately 50 hours of work during the week of the event. Each Chaperone is assigned to one of the following tracks:
Animal Science, Food Science, or International Trade. Continued employment may be possible.
- Attending sessions and tours with students.
- Transporting students.
- Administrative tasks as assigned.
- Accompanying students to meals.
- End of night room checks.
- Residing in an NDSU residence hall to supervise student safety overnight.
The wage for this position starts at $15/hour, with some overtime pay. Housing and meals are provided.
Minimum QualificationsThe position requires strong customer service, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
