Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative Special Education teacher to join our Fargo, ND team. This unique position will involve floating between two behavioral health locations 5 minutes apart in Fargo, providing academic support for K-12 students in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 school-age patients at any one time.
Position entails a 40‑hour a week commitment, Monday‑Friday 7:30‑4 or 8‑4:30 (depending on candidate preference), year round. Qualifications- B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
- North Dakota state Special Education teaching license
- Comfortable working with K‑12 students
- Strong organizational skills
- Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs
- Reliable Transportation
