Schedule
: 9 months. Monday–Thursday (Longfellow) and Friday in elementary schools
Salary Range
:
Para educator II $18.61 - $23.08
Location
: ECSE Program at Agassiz
Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) programming is located at the Longfellow campus. Scheduling is arranged to meet each student’s unique learning needs as determined by the Individualized Education Program Team.
Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians
- Basic academic and computer skills
- Experience working or volunteering in a school setting
- Experience working with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Associate’s degree in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a similar field
- Experience working as a direct support professional, personal care aide, CNA, or similar position
