Schedule:
9 months Monday through Friday. Salary Range:
From $18.24 to $22.70 per hour.
This position is contingent on the availability of specific Title I funding and may/will be subject to non‑renewal following the 2026‑2027 school year based on the unavailability or uncertainty of Title I funding. Positions supported by Title I funds require additional levels of education or certification. If hired for a Title I position, Title I Paraprofessional Certification will be required prior to hire or work with students.
All building principals have access to this job posting and will call selected candidates for interviews. Additional education and/or experience may be required for specific aide positions.
A Title Para provides academic or behavioral interventions to support and deliver direct services to students under the direction of a certified teacher or other licensed employee. This classification is generally assigned to work with individuals or small groups of students needing tier II or III interventions.
What You Need- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to communicate with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians orally and in writing
- Basic academic and computer skills
- Title I Paraprofessional Certification (required for Title I positions)
- Experience working or volunteering in a school setting
- Experience working with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Associate’s degree in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a similar field
- Experience working as direct support professional, personal care aid, CNA, or similar position
