The primary purpose of the infant-toddler teaching technician includes:
1. Planning, implementing, and evaluating high-quality, developmentally appropriate environments and curriculum for infants and toddlers.
2. Promoting home/school relations and partnership with parents and the community.
3. Assisting in the supervision, support, and evaluations of co-workers and university students participating in the infant room.
4. Working safely.
Work Schedule:
8:30am-5:30pm Monday through Friday during regular university hours. 8:00am-4:30pm during breaks and summer hours.
Hiring Range: $40,329 - $53,773
Pay is based on several factors, including budget, labor market, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and/or certification and other business considerations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field with 5 years of experience.
1 year experience working with children birth to 2 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
2 years of experience working with children birth to 2 years of age.
Core Competencies:
* Customer-oriented to best meet the needs of children, their parents, and university students.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
* Organized and attends to details.
* Ability to use kitchen appliances safely.
* Ability to use Microsoft Office and internet
