• You will lead, mentor, and develop mechanical engineers and design teams
• Develop and manage department budgets, staffing forecasts, and KPIs
• Implement and maintain engineering processes, and documentation standards
• Generate new machinery concepts and budget estimates
• You will ensure adherence to standards, codes, and best practices (ISO, CE, etc.)
• Oversee projects to meet scope, schedule, cost, and quality requirements while working closely as a team focused on customer requirements
• Identify project and technical risks, create mitigation plans, and monitor progress
• Represent the mechanical engineering department in executive-level meetings and communicate priorities across the team

• You have a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum of six years of design engineering experience, including at least two years in management or team leadership
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD design software and knowledge of packaging processes
• Ability to interpret complex documents and drawings, think ahead 1–2 years, and make effective, persuasive decisions
• You have excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills; strong team player
• Skilled in organizing and managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally
• Demonstrates commitment to company values and vision, with a strong customer focus
