Responsibilities- You will develop machine processes with support from mechanical engineering
- You will assist with the selection of electrical components
- You will create programs to control machines using Allen Bradley Studio 5000 software
- You will design HMIs for machine control using Allen Bradley FTView Studio ME software
- You will review the safety circuit design and complete machine safety system programming
- You will provide suggestions for design improvements or changes during all phases of machine design
- You will integrate third party equipment into machine functions
- You will debug and prepare the machine for factory acceptance testing (FAT)
- You will review the operating manuals prepared by the technical writer
- You will travel to the customer’s facility for machine integration and site acceptance testing (SAT)
- You will communicate and interact with customers in a positive and professional manner
- You have a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required
- You have experience in programming PLC’s, robots, and creating operator interfaces preferred
- You are familiar with other programming languages a plus (Python, C++, C#, VB)
- You have experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- You are able to travel up to 25%
