Electrical EIT

This Electrical EIT will perform routine engineering assignments under supervision from a knowledgeable mentor. The role includes communication with clients, engineering design elements, and managing project sections with final approval from the manager. It collaborates with other engineers to ensure projects progress smoothly, while gaining experience in the electrical department.

• Engineer power, lighting, communications, and life safety systems for assigned projects.
• Attend onsite visits and handle construction administration when required.
• Answer questions, stay on schedule, and follow a budget to successfully complete projects.
• Interact professionally with designers, technicians, construction administration, and clients.
• Balance and schedule multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
• Seek mentorship and support to ensure successful design and project completion.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• Electrical Engineer in Training (EIT) required or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Working toward Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to work successfully on a team and listen carefully.
• Desire to produce quality work and grow professionally.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and build trusting relationships with clients and owners.
• Ability to work outside normal business hours as project schedules and deadlines require.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit preferred.
• Maintaining high level of integrity and ethical standards.
