Responsibilities- Oversee project timelines ensuring that all deliverables meet stringent quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project compliance with aerospace regulations.
- Author, update, and review work instructions and documentation packages.
- Develop and train other engineers and technicians on new or updated tooling and processes.
- Perform testing of pneumatic systems and analyze data to drive design improvements.
- Prepare comprehensive project reports and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues during design and testing phases.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure reliability and safety of systems.
- Design pneumatic systems and components for aircraft applications.
- Create and maintain technical documentation as per company and customer directives.
- Lead efforts in resolving non-conforming pneumatic and mechanical issues.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Over 5 years of recent aerospace engineering experience, focusing on pneumatic systems.
- Strong understanding of aerospace regulations and industry standards.
- Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling tools for mechanical design and integration.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work with hardware directly on the floor.
- Comfort with physical activities such as stooping, bending, and standing.
- Excellent technical data interpretation skills and interpersonal communication.
