Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage project timelines to meet high standards of quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project alignment with aerospace regulations.
  • Author, update, and review work instructions and documentation packages.
  • Educate and train engineers and technicians on tooling and process developments.
  • Conduct testing and validation of hydraulic systems, analyzing performance data for improvements.
  • Prepare comprehensive project reports and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design and testing engineering issues.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure system reliability.
  • Design hydraulic systems and components for aircraft applications.
  • Maintain thorough work records in line with MAA practices and directives.
  • Provide technical expertise and lead efforts in troubleshooting non-conforming hydraulics issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 5+ years of recent aerospace engineering experience focused on hydraulic systems.
  • Proven experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and structural assemblies.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace regulations and industry standards.
  • Experience with simulation and automation testing, 3D CAD, and data reduction tools.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to interpret technical data and an excellent problem-solver.
  • Hands‑on capability, comfortable with physical tasks including standing and bending.
