HVAC Controls Systems Engineer

Our client, a leader in building automation and HVAC solutions, is seeking an HVAC Controls Systems Engineer to join their team. As an HVAC Controls Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering/Project Management Department supporting field technicians, installers, and project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem solving ability, and independence.

HVAC Controls Systems Engineer

$32.76 per hour

• Lead HVAC controls projects from start to finish
• Design, program, and commission building automation systems
• Coordinate installation and work with subcontractors/technicians
• Manage project budgets, billing, and change orders
• Communicate with customers throughout the project lifecycle

• Experience with HVAC or building automation controls
• Project management experience
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients
• Ability to work independently
• Strong computer skills

• Associate degree + 2 years experience OR 4 years related experience
• Experience programming panel controls (HVAC preferred)
• Knowledge of project coordination and execution
• Understanding of safety and compliance requirements
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
