Mechanical Engineer

Job Overview

The Mechanical Engineer I designs, fabricates, develops, and tests solutions to improve reliability, capability, throughput, and the safety of production equipment, jigs/fixtures, workstations, and material handling equipment. The Mechanical Engineer collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver safe, cost‑effective, and high‑quality solutions.

• Support Maintenance to identify, problem‑solve, and resolve issues in production equipment.
• Design, fabricate, develop, and test jigs/fixtures, material handling equipment, and production workstations.
• Assist with Equipment Retrofits.
• Assist Manufacturing Engineers with daily issues.
• Maintain drawing accuracy and folder structure format.
• Develop bill of materials and procure necessary materials.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and materials.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
