Job OverviewJoin our team at the Marvin Composites plant in Fargo, ND as a Continuous Improvement Engineer. In this role, you will work closely with production teams to improve safety, quality, output, and cost effectiveness. You will gather data, identify gaps, and lead practical and measurable improvement projects to enhance processes, reduce waste, and increase throughput.
Responsibilities- Identify and lead improvement projects that reduce waste and help teams work more efficiently.
- Work with cross‑functional teams to find practical ways to improve processes and lower costs.
- Use data to understand current performance, identify root causes, and support decisions on what to improve.
- Participate in CI boards and help turn team ideas into actionable improvements.
- Create and maintain clear, easy‑to‑follow documentation and help establish best practices that can be repeated and sustained.
- Support teams in testing changes, measuring results, and ensuring improvements are maintained over time.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to communicate clearly, listen, and build trust with others.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings or prints.
- Experience using structured problem‑solving methods to identify root causes, adjust approach, and implement solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required;
Industrial Engineering strongly preferred.
$68,000 - $105,000
