The Opportunity
The Lead Commissioning Integrator will lead both cold and hot commissioning, solve complex issues, and mentor others. Plant or subsystem-level leadership, integration issues, client interface.
What You'll Do- Define test sequences; tailor scripts; de‑risk constraints
- Lead plant startup; tune control loops; resolve cross‑system faults
- Diagnose multi‑factor failures (PLC/SCADA/network/protection)
- Approve reports; ensure audit‑ready documentation (NERC/ISO)
- Lead SAT; secure client sign‑off; ensure training/turnover readiness
- Days, evenings, nights, and weekends may be required and are mandatory as required by client schedules
- Traveling to sites may reach 50% depending on project load and client needs
- 2‑year technical degree or bachelor’s in Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent, or proven field commissioning experience (8+ years)
- Exposure to PLCs, HMIs, or SCADA systems (basic familiarity)
- Reads wiring diagrams and simple network diagrams
- Typically 8+ years of hands‑on commissioning in
- PLC/SCADA systems (multi‑platform: SEL RTAC, Schneider, Allen‑Bradley, Siemens)
- Renewable energy systems (solar, BESS, substation controls)
- Complex troubleshooting across PLC, SCADA, networking, relays, communications
- Leading subsystem or full‑site commissioning scopes
- Experience training or mentoring junior staff
- Demonstrated success navigating client‑facing SAT sign‑offs
- Advanced understanding of control sequences, networking, and power systems
- Willing to travel 50% of the time
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving standards
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the US

Target Base Compensation Range for this role is $42.50 - $57.50 per hour. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your job specific skills, education, training, job location, number of years of experience related to this role and comparison to other employees already in this role.
This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to be posted for an average of 60 days until a qualified applicant is selected or the position has been cancelled.
