About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring an Hydraulic Project Engineer for an aerospace engineering and manufacturing company in West Fargo, ND. In this role, you'll lead the design, development, testing, and validation of hydraulic systems for aerospace applications while managing projects that support quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. WhatYou'll Do as an Hydraulic Project Engineer:
- Design, develop, and improve hydraulic systems and components for aerospace applications.
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with engineering, production, customers, and technicians.
- Author, update, review, and approve work instructions and technical documentation.
- Lead testing and validation activities, including test readiness reviews, data analysis, and performance evaluations.
- Troubleshoot engineering issues and support resolution of non-conforming hydraulic and mechanical systems.
- Design tooling, fixtures, and test solutions to improve manufacturing and testing processes.
- Ensure compliance with aerospace regulations, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 5+ years of recent aerospace engineering experience with a focus on hydraulic systems.
- Experience writing work instructions and procedures for critical aerospace components.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and structural assembly testing, including test equipment and data acquisition systems.
- Strong mechanical design and 3D CAD modeling skills.
- Knowledge of aerospace regulations, aviation maintenance practices, and quality systems.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to work in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
