Our client, a leading NETA certified and staff augmentation firm, is searching for a strong Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to join their Fargo, ND team. This role is critical to ensuring the successful commissioning of mechanical systems for our projects. If you have a strong mechanical commissioning background and thrive in fast-paced environments, we want you to help us drive excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, execute, and oversee the commissioning of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of mechanical equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to meet project milestones and deadlines.
- Prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, including reports, checklists, and schedules.
- Ensure systems are fully operational and meet performance requirements before handover.
- Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize project delays.
- Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on-site.
- 3+ years of experience as a Commissioning Engineer with a focus in mechanical
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and industrial equipment.
- Proven ability to manage commissioning processes from planning to completion.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASME, ANSI).
- Experience working in the construction of META datacenters is a huge plus
- Experience with commissioning software or tools (e.g., CxAlloy, BIM 360).
- Knowledge of control systems and integration with mechanical equipment.
