Position Overview

The Events Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of birthday parties and group events at NRG Adventure Park. This role leads the Events Assistant(s) and ensures all events are executed seamlessly from booking through day‑of operations. The Events Supervisor serves as the primary on‑site point of contact for guests, maintains high service standards, and drives event revenue through effective upselling and operational efficiency.

This is a hands‑on role that requires strong organization, leadership, and the ability to perform in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment.

Essential Job Functions Event Execution & Guest Experience
  • Oversee day‑of event operations to ensure a smooth, safe, and high‑quality guest experience
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for party hosts and group organizers during events
  • Ensure all event details, timelines, and special requests are executed accurately
  • Address and resolve guest concerns in a timely and professional manner
Team Supervision & Support
  • Supervise, coach, and support Events Assistant(s) during shifts
  • Delegate tasks and ensure proper staffing coverage for scheduled events
  • Provide real‑time guidance to ensure service standards and operational procedures are met
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new Events team members
Booking & Revenue Generation
  • Support event booking processes, including inquiries, reservations, and confirmations
  • Review bookings for accuracy and completeness
  • Drive revenue through upselling of party packages, add‑ons, and enhancements
  • Ensure proper use of POS and Groups systems by the team
Operational Excellence
  • Maintain organization of event schedules, materials, and party areas
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety rules, and operational procedures
  • Monitor inventory and supplies needed for events and communicate needs to management
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges quickly and effectively
Administrative & Communication
  • Communicate effectively with the Events Manager regarding event status, issues, and opportunities
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of bookings, payments, and event details
  • Support reporting needs related to event performance and revenue
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in events, hospitality, or guest service; supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a fast‑paced environment
  • Comfortable handling cash and completing transactions
  • Experience with POS systems; ability to learn NRG systems quickly

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).

  • Ability to work in varying conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
