Job DescriptionResponsible for conducting credit analyses including gathering, analyzing and interpreting all types of credit information on existing and prospective customers and portfolios. Data collected may include credit reports, industry research, and tax returns. Inputs data into tracking and/or reporting systems or databases. Prepares and presents credit reports to decision-makers on new, renewal, and extension loans. In some areas, may make credit decisions in a high-volume production environment.
Monitors customer accounts and loan portfolios to identify potential issues and maximize credit quality and minimize risk. Sets up and maintains databases used to analyze accounts/portfolios. Furnishes information relative to credit inquiries to appropriate parties.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically one or more years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Basic knowledge of credit and risk analysis, economics, accounting and finance
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, with an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and flexibility to work outside the office location for the remaining days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location listed first. The actual range may differ based on location. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive programs, equity stock purchase, 401(k) contribution and pension. Pay Range: $20.87 - $27.84
