Align Financial is a quickly growing practice that provides holistic financial planning to a variety of clients. We are looking to add a financial paraplanner to the team. This position is responsible for directly supporting Align’s clients and financial planning practice. We strive to provide exceptional financial planning, investment management, and client service to existing and prospective clients. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, self-motivated, with excellent communication skills;

an interest and/or prior experience in the financial planning industry is a big plus!

  • Work together prior to client meetings to finalize meeting prep materials and research
  • Attend meetings with/without financial advisor to assist clients throughout the planning process
  • Notate and complete meeting documentation
  • Work with the team to complete post-meeting action items, such as communication with clients, and sending applications
  • Communicate directly with clients via phone and/or email
  • Work with our practice management software () to organize and coordinate tasks
  • Participate in new projects and events, with the goal of improving processes and the client experience; offer new ideas on how to improve efficiency
  • Learn and work with a variety of technology tools to facilitate client financial planning and investment/insurance management

Characteristics:

  • Effective oral and written communication skills to successfully interact with prospects, clients and other financial professionals
  • Willingness to learn and adapt/bring new ideas
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Prioritization and time management skills

Qualifications

  • 2 years of post-high school education (preferred)
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial industry (preferred)
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Basic understanding of the industry, financial concepts, product and market knowledge, and investment management

Pay: $45,000 +
