As a family-owned and operated community bank, we focus on building long-term relationships with our customers and within our communities. Our team offers a supportive, team-oriented environment and plays an important role in maintaining service quality, managing risk, and supporting continued growth across the bank.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review reports to ensure accuracy of card and payment processes and complete maintenance needed to resolve errors.
* Monitor accounts and reports for fraudulent or suspicious activity and respond appropriately.
* Process incoming card and payment maintenance requests, returned mail/cards, and account updates.
* Support day-to-day transaction processing, reconciliation, and balancing activities, including ATM support.
* Assist with dispute and chargeback intake, documentation, and research.
* Provide professional, responsive service to internal and external customers with card and payment-related questions.
* Follow policies, procedures, and internal controls while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
Qualifications:
* Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred; or 1-2 years of related experience in card services, payment operations, customer service, or a banking environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Familiarity with payment rails such as ACH, RTP, Fed Now, or wire transfers, and/or card network rules (Visa/Mastercard) preferred.
* Strong communication and customer service skills with a professional approach.
* Attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
* Reliability, professionalism, and a team-focused mindset.
* Willingness to learn and build knowledge of payment processes and systems.
