IRA Installation Analyst

Position Summary

The IRA Installation Analyst supports the client onboarding process to ensure key deliverables are met for both plan implementation and ongoing plan processing. The role provides exceptional customer service, front‑line call center help, and operational support to Financial Advisors, Employers, and IRA Owners. The analyst assists with plan set‑up, ensures stakeholders have required information, and manages daily transaction processing such as distribution requests, payroll contributions, and issue resolution.

• Protect and secure confidential data in accordance with Ascensus policies.
• Manage case load for plan installation and initial processing to meet service goals.
• Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding objectives, deliverables, scheduling, and reporting.
• Coordinate onboarding and implementation processes, including collection of required documentation.
• Update internal tracking systems and ensure departmental completion of tasks within the implementation plan.
• Provide training and assistance to clients and internal staff on ongoing administrative services.
• Escalate potential risks and provide input on client issues and delays.
• Participate in solution teams to define and incorporate new and enhanced services.
• Verify customer information and perform tasks related to opening, maintaining, and closing IRA accounts.
• Recommend process improvements based on daily customer interactions.
• Monitor reports and correct processing errors as they arise.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (business, communication, accounting, marketing).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial or retirement services.
• Client service experience working with Plan Sponsors and/or Financial Advisors.
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex processes clearly.
• Moderate knowledge of Traditional, Roth, SEP, and SIMPLE IRA plans.
• Problem‑solving skills with capability to handle complex issues independently.
• Detail‑oriented with understanding of the broader process impact.
• Conflict resolution ability within team and client contexts.
• Training/mentoring experience and ability to communicate process flows.
• Decision‑making and risk‑taking skills for participant or plan‑level transactions.

• Time management and prioritization in a dynamic environment.
• Independent work style with sensitivity and respect for others.
• Initiative to seek additional responsibilities and apply training.

National average salary range: $20–$22 per hour (exclusive of bonuses). Actual salary may vary by location and experience.
