The FP&A Intern will support the Finance team in providing financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to help drive business decision-making. This role will collaborate cross-functionally to analyze financial performance, identify process improvement opportunities, and support automation initiatives. The intern will assist with monthly close activities, financial modeling, variance analysis, and the preparation of management reports. This position offers valuable exposure to business operations, strategic planning, and financial analysis within a dynamic organization.
This position is part of the Finance Department located in Fargo, ND and will be on-site. At IDT, we combine best-in-class products and service with the ideal operating environment to lay the groundwork for vital new discoveries worldwide. You will be a part of the FP&A team and report to the Sr. Manager of Finance responsible for budgeting, forecasting, monthly/quarterly close activities, variance analysis, and delivering executive-ready insights.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
- One Stream or other financial systems

The hourly rate for this role is $28.00/hr this is the rate that we in good faith believe is the rate of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This rate may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
