Job Description

Adelphi is seeking a qualified, licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide full-time, in-person speech and language services for an elementary School in Fargo, North Dakota. The SLP will deliver direct and indirect services to elementary students in accordance with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), conduct evaluations using district-approved tools, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with school-based teams while adhering to applicable state regulations, district policies, and professional standards.

Requirements
  • Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of North Dakota (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Resume with relevant school-based experience
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
  • Deliver indirect services and consultative support as required
  • Conduct standardized speech and language assessments using district-approved assessment tools
  • Collect data and perform progress monitoring to support IEP goals
  • Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings and other required school meetings
  • Submit short narrative reports and documentation to assigned case managers
  • Case manage students as assigned by the district
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, special education staff, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with district and state requirements
  • Manage daily schedule and coordinate services with assigned building staff
  • Adhere to all school district policies, professional standards, and confidentiality requirements
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
