Description:
This position requires performing quality diagnostic polysomnographic tests.
Additional tests include titration, multiple sleep latency, and maintenance of wakefulness tests.
Accurate data must be recorded and provided to physicians for diagnostic use in the treatment of patients with sleep/wake disorders.
The work schedule consists of 36 hours per week, working 12-hour night shifts from Monday through Friday.
No weekends or call duties are required.
The employee may be the only pediatric sleep tech on shift but will work alongside adult sleep techs.
Pediatric and/or NICU sleep study experience is required.
Training will be provided by the team.
Computerized charting and the utilization of specific software for sleep studies are integral to the role.
A registration by the Board of Polysomnographic Technologists is required as a Polysomnographic Technologist, with multi-state licensure privileges being preferable.
Dark gray scrubs are the designated dress code.
Cancellation policy allows for client cancellation up to 12 hours prior without penalty.
