Position: Travel Pediatric Polysomnographic Technologist - $1,640 per week

Job Description & Requirements

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a Polysomnographer (Sleep Technician) for a travel assignment in Fargo, North Dakota.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for overnight polysomnographic studies by explaining procedures and attaching monitoring equipment.
  • Monitor patients’ physiological responses during sleep using EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, respiratory, and oxygen saturation equipment.
  • Identify and respond to sleep-related events such as apneas, hypopneas, and arousals.
  • Ensure accurate data collection and documentation throughout the study.
  • Recognize medical emergencies and respond according to protocol.
  • Score sleep studies and generate preliminary reports for physician review (if credentialed to do so).
  • Maintain and calibrate sleep lab equipment.
  • Promote patient safety and comfort throughout the study.
  • Follow infection control and privacy standards.
  • Work overnight shifts, typically 10-12 hours in duration.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Sleep Technician.
  • BLS certification.
  • BRPT (RPSGT) National Certification.
  • State licensure may be required.

The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as a Sleep Technician, possess a current BLS certification, and hold the RPSGT National Certification. State licensure may be required.

Sleep Technicians should be able to stay alert throughout long night shifts, have excellent attention to detail, and possess strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care.

Requirements*: BLS, BRPT (RPSGT), 2 Years. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Total Med Allied Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Posted job title:
