Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Surgical First Assistant - Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Fargo, North Dakota. Required Qualifications:
- One year of recent experience as a Surgical First Assistant
- Technologist - Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA or CRNFA) certifications
- Current Surgical Technologist Certification
- Current BLS (AHA/ ARC) Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- ACLS (AHA /ARC) certifications
- Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position
The Surgical First Assistant is responsible for providing advanced nursing care directly assisting surgeons throughout surgical procedures. Responsibilities can include preoperative patient assessment, intraoperative assistance, and postoperative care management. The position requires exceptional surgical skills, critical thinking abilities, excellent communication, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and professional ethics in the operating room environment.
