Patient Accounts Coordinator

We are looking for a Patient Accounts Coordinator who is detail‑oriented, motivated, and ready to make a meaningful impact behind the scenes in healthcare operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, working with insurance and billing processes, and contributing to the financial success of a mission‑driven healthcare organization.

Position Details
  • Full‑Time
  • In‑Office Position – Fargo, ND
What You'll Do
  • Process and submit medical claims accurately and efficiently
  • Verify insurance eligibility and patient benefits
  • Review billing documentation and ensure proper coding compliance
  • Follow up on denied, rejected, or unpaid claims
  • Work with insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies
  • Assist patients with billing questions and payment‑related concerns
  • Support revenue cycle operations and reimbursement processes
  • Maintain accurate records and billing documentation
  • Stay current on billing regulations, coding updates, and payer requirements
What We're Looking For
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems
  • Experience with medical billing, insurance claims, or EHR systems preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, or revenue cycle processes preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
