Description:
This position requires a Polysomnographic Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
You will conduct quality diagnostic polysomnographic studies, including titration, multiple sleep latency, and maintenance of wakefulness tests.
Responsibilities include recording and providing accurate data to physicians for diagnostic purposes in the treatment of sleep/wake disorders.
You will utilize computerized charting systems and software for sleep studies.
Flexibility with scheduling is necessary, with night shifts primarily on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, though it may vary based on department needs.
Call is not required, and there is no floating to other units or departments.
The facility has a total of 10 adult beds.
The dress code for this position is dark gray scrubs.
Major holidays such as Thanksgiving night, Christmas Eve, and Christmas day are closed, but shifts may be scheduled on other holidays.
