• Van Driver/Mental Health Technician Opportunity!

  This full-time opportunity offers 40 hours per week, full benefits, and a convenient repeating two week schedule. You will always know when you are scheduled to work. There is opportunity for overtime and to cover various shifts, if interested.

  Mental Health Technicians work directly with patients to provide support and hope. The Mental Health Technician position serves as an awesome foundation for people looking to grow their career in the area of nursing, therapy, social work, and substance use disorders.

  Prairie St. John's has been providing services for children, adolescents, and adults to address behavioral health and substance use challenges since 1997. Prairie offers inpatient hospitalization, day treatment, and intensive outpatient services. Accredited by The Joint Commission, we are the largest, freestanding behavioral health facility in the region. More than 4,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Prairie St.

  Job Duties:
  
  

  • Obeys all applicable traffic laws and safety regulations maintaining a safe driving record
  • Possesses the necessary driving skills in operating company van/ vehicle with manual transmission
  • Addresses minor vehicle maintenance including fueling, checking and maintaining fluid levels and proper tire inflation
  • Schedules vehicle oil changes, tune-ups, and washes as approved
  • Maintains proper boundaries with patients and/or clients
  • Assures confidentiality of patient and company information is not released

Job Requirements:

Previous experience working with children, adolescents or adults in a health care setting or group setting such as day care, school, group homes, or residential facilities.

Must have a clean driving record.

Must have an active drivers license.
