The Licensed Massage Therapist is a full-time, on-site role based at Tranquility Spa & Massage in Fargo, ND. This role involves performing a range of massage modalities, including relaxation, therapeutic, deep tissue, and specialized treatments based on client needs and preferences. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client intake assessments, maintaining accurate treatment records, and providing education on self-care and wellness. The therapist ensures a clean, safe, and comfortable treatment environment, adheres to professional and ethical standards, and collaborates with spa staff to deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience.
Qualifications- Active state massage therapy license in good standing and completion of an accredited massage therapy program.
- Strong knowledge of massage modalities, anatomy, physiology, and contraindications, with the ability to tailor treatments to individual client needs.
- Commitment to maintaining sanitary, safe, and professional treatment spaces, following all health, safety, and ethical guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client-service skills, including the ability to build trust and maintain professional boundaries.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with spa team members.
- Basic proficiency with scheduling systems, documentation, and record-keeping; willingness to learn spa-specific tools and processes.
