Senior Living Assistant (Housekeeper 6a-230p) – PRN (As Needed). The position is located at Eventide Senior Living Communities in Fargo, ND (near Scheel’s Arena). No weekends.
Responsibilities- Perform housekeeping duties and maintain a safe and clean environment for residents, families, and staff.
- Cleans tenant apartments, bathrooms, common resident areas, staff work areas, and other common areas used by staff and visitors.
- Perform cleaning procedures such as mopping, dusting, vacuuming, washing windows and walls, polishing and scrubbing.
- Assist with sorting, washing, drying and folding residents’ personal clothing as needed.
- Ensure that all work areas and carts are kept safe and secure.
- Follow infection control policies and procedures and report unsafe conditions to a supervisor.
- Maintain a positive relationship with residents, families, and staff.
- Re‑stock housekeeping carts, soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers, and toilet tissue.
- Keep all equipment clean, locked as indicated, and in a safe manner.
- Assist with meal service process as needed or where applicable.
- Offer and serve menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize all dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers used for meals.
- Prepare various menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director.
- Operate the dish machine according to directions. Pre‑soak and sort dishes and utensils.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Long‑term care or senior living experience preferred.
Competitive starting pay range of $16–17.92 per hour based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are available for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
