This is an office position responsible for administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This is a part-time position, approximately 20-25 hours per week.
ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS database
- Process new hire, employee change, and termination documentation
- Ensure personnel files are organized and compliant with company and legal requirements
- Maintain up to date job descriptions for all roles within the organization
- Support open enrollment activities and benefits communications
- Assist with onboarding and orientation of new employees
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and financial information
- Provide administrative support for employee engagement programs
- Assist with self-audits including employee file audits, I-9 audits and annual 401K and payroll audits
- Other administrative and human resources duties as assigned

Requirements Candidate Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous administrative, office support, customer service or human resources experience preferred
- Thorough understanding of maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive documents and information
- Data entry skills using a 10-key pad
- The ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks, strong attention to detail, establish priorities, work independently, problem solve, and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new programs
- Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time and work at a computer
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Working knowledge of Windows and proficiency with PC platforms
- Experience with payroll or human resources software preferred
